in the participatory documentary, our grandfather Antanas Januškevicius (born 1944) tells his life story from a childhood spent in Aban, Siberia, USSR to becoming a wood sculpture artist. Together with his daughters and grandchildren, he revisits no longer existing childhood home and primary school, teaches them the art of wood sculpting and shares his potato pancake recipe.

This film is a depiction of a cross-generational search for identity, nostalgic memories, lost homes and people, and the beauty of everyday life.
